God’s Plan for Giving
2 Corinthians 8-9

1. It is the only response to God’s grace. 8:1-6
2. It is spiritual gift. 8:7 Romans 12:8
3. It follows the example of the cross. 8:8-9
4. It is proportionate to my income. 8:10-12
5. It blesses others. 8:13-15
6. It should be diligently handled. 8:16-24
7. The giving of others can be our example. 9:1-5
8. The law of sowing and reaping applies. 9:6-11
9. It causes others to praise and thank God. 9:11-15

Three levels of giving.

1. You have to…legalism
2. You want to get back…bartering
3. It gives you joy….maturity

Three kinds of giving

1. Tithes
2. Offerings
3. Left Hand Right Hand
